Also there is a MRDD fund raiser August 30, 2007 at Chipotle.  $5.00 will get you a burrito, tacos, salad, or bowl and soft drink.   Proceeds will go to the MRDD Awareness Fund.  Sounds like a win-win situation to me!

Crabby spent most of the morning making pop-can chicken (at home it’s beer can chicken) at Fairfield Industries today. The senior group invited friends and relatives to a chicken dinner to raise funds for the group. Most of the food was donated by the staff.

It was reported by reader ChrisK that Timmy Keil today was unanimously voted out of the Head Start Policy Council, Community Actions Board, and as a Head Start representative.

A new Internet forum has been opened to explore and discuss the idea of opening a performing arts center in downtown Lancaster. All interested parties are invited to join in the discussion.
