I was fascinated by the billboard on West Fair depicting Council candidate Greg Russell and the Muni building. I always know that Greg was a big man, but the billboard dispicts him as bigger than the Muni building! I know that politicians like to exaggerate, but sheesh! I thought this would make a great photo for you to post YOUR caption!

I was checking this out the other day too and found it ironic that above his picture is his name and below his picture is the word LARGE.
Greg’s a really nice guy and I hope he gets relected.

It’s the angle of the building that disturbs me. Sort of symbolic of the state of our city government.

I figured the angle of the building was from a shift in gravity from being near Mr Russell.
I agree with you 43 that Mr Russell is a very nice man. He does a lot of good for the community. That being said being a nice guy does not necessarily make him an effective councilman. Jimmy Carter is/was a very nice man, but a very bad president.
Mr Russell could crush his opponents - literally!

When Greg took over the helm at Tiki, he brought it up to where it should have been and has made it a top of the place to bowl.
His focus on having a place where you can take your family has made the bowling alley that much better. B/day parties, rock-n-bowl…
THAT being said- shows me the type of person that Greg is and knows how to get things done properly. It does not matter what party he is, I would vote for him.
I think ole’ jackherre needs to take a chill- Jack- Crabby makes fun of himself ALL the time- Hence the name of this websight you idiot! How do you know what financial situation CFG is in? Maybe he chooses to work where he does because that’s all he needs! Ever see some of the greeteres at Walmart? These guys may be retired and probably are worth more than most of the people walking in there!
Also- I think the baldness may come from banging it against the headboard!

This piece was meant as a fun piece and not meant to denigrate Greg. From what I know about Mr Russell he would think it was funny. I have commented before that he should be commended for allowing MRDD bowl anytime for FREE!!!! I already voted for Mr Russell despite his political affiliation simply because it is clear that he does care about his/our community.

In this economy there are literally millions of underemployed people. The people that end up working fast food or retail do not deserve to be made fun of. They are doing what they can. Isn’t it better that a person work a low level job than just be a leach on the taxpayers?

I cannot believe that Russel was surprised that he lost.
I think the Constituents of Lancaster are getting fed up with ALL incumbents and are slowly making changes that hopefully will wake up city hall and get thing done.
