On Aug. 22, Utovich (The “scheduler” he was sharing bodily fluids with) asked, “How’s the bull?”

Dann replied “It says it misses you”.

She replied “It loves me.”

Ewwwww……

Fat Lady Sings

While it seems as though the fat lady has sung for Marc Dann, unfortunately we will be hearing about it for months to come.  The investigation will be covering more than what we have heard, much more.  In addition to Dann’s involvement with the original sexual harassment charges, but now also his involvement in gambling interests.  There are also unconfirmed rumors about other areas that will be covered.

Additionally, the media has picked up on the irony of Tom Winter’s previous involvement with Tom Noe.

The fat lady may have sung for Marc Dann, but our suffering with the story is FAR from over.

I predicted that Ben Espy would take the reins in the AG’s office when Dann left. I was wrong – it is Tom Winters – Tom Noe’s former lobbyist.

An unconfirmed source tells me that an Ohio State Patrolman discovered Marc Dann shredding papers and he was escorted from the building.

This is an unconfirmed RUMOR at this point.

NOT A RUMOR: Dann’s office has been raided and equipment seized.

Jackscrow predicted Dann will leave office on May 23rd. AG Marc Dann is expected to announce his departure today.

I’ll buy you a beer at the next Crabby Hour Jackscrow!

Nine counts filed by house Democrats accuse Marc Dann of obstruction, neglect and giving misleading statements under oath. Members of the House State Government and Elections Committee voted 10-5 for a bill that gives Inspector General Thomas Charles the authority to investigate the allegations.

You gotta hear this…..(link)

Ohio Atorney General Marc Dann has been booted from the Democratic Party. Click here for details.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that another AG staffer, Kathleen Walley, has been suspended for assisting Anthony Gutierrez run his Youngstown construction business from the AG office. (Click here)

The suspension, disclosed by the Dann administration yesterday only after The Dispatch inquired about it, contradicts Dann’s statement last Friday that all matters related to the investigation had been fully disclosed.

From the Youngstown Vindicator (link):

“She had her computer wiped clean” by employees from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, “and she did not have the authority to do that,” Ted Hart, spokesman for the attorney general’s office, said Thursday.

Sounds to me like the employees from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation are also culpable.

While Republicans are publicly calling for Dann’s ouster they are privately laughing their asses off.

Lawmakers are dusting off the laws concerning impeachment. Impeachment is rare in Ohio. It has only been used once and that was over 200 years ago. The man that holds the honor of being (so far) the only impeached Ohio official belongs to Common Pleas Judge William W. Irvin, a farmer and lawyer from Lancaster. Irvin went on to serve as a Ohio supreme court justice from 1810 to 1815. Later he was re-elected to the house and served as speaker for four years.
